Job summary

Baptist Health Arkansas is seeking a Team Lead Planner within the Center Of Learning And Pro Dev to collaborate with educators and nursing managers to provide education and consultation across the Baptist Health nursing division. The role includes teaching, leading courses, and updating educational materials.

The Nurse Planner will ensure course quality, serve as a course leader, and contribute to regulatory compliance and clinical practice improvements within the provider unit.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Nursing required.
• Current ASBN license in the state of primary residence if Nurse Licensure Compact.
• Two years of clinical experience in acute care preferred.
• Staff development or similar certification preferred.
• Knowledge of regulatory guidelines, evidence-based practice, core measures, performance improvement, and Joint Commission regulations preferred.
• Teaching experience and familiarity with computers and audiovisual equipment preferred.

Working Hours: Mon- Friday 8-5

Summary:
The Team Lead Planner collaborates with the Center of Learning & Professional Development team, unit educators, nursing managers, and others to provide education and consultation to the Baptist Health division of nursing. The Team Lead Planner teaches and serves as a course leader in select Center of Learning & Professional Development courses, updates and evaluates courses and educational materials. Functions as a Nurse Planner within the BH Provider Unit.

Other information:
Graduate of an accredited NLN school of nursing. Bachelors in Nursing degree required. Certification is staff development or similar certification preferred. Working knowledge of regulatory guidelines, evidence based practice, core measures, performance improvement processes, trends in clinical nursing practice and The Joint Commission regulations preferred. Two years clinical experience in an acute care setting is preferred. Staff development and clinical speciality experience preferred. Must possess a current ASBN license or in the state of primary residence if the state is a Nurse Licensure Compact state. Prefer experience in teaching, computer, audiovisual equipment and fundamental clinical nursing. Good communication skills and professionalism required.

This job will be authorized80.00 hours bi-weekly.
