Job summary

Medical University of South Carolina seeks a Service Line Coordinator to manage decontamination, inspection, assembly, sterilization, QA and instrumentation inventory for designated surgical service lines. You will partner with surgeons, OR staff, vendors and Sterile Processing leadership to ensure instrument readiness and patient safety.

The role requires CRCST certification, 3+ years in sterile processing, and strong organizational skills in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) required.
• Minimum of three years of Sterile Processing experience.
• Demonstrated competency with specialty surgical instrumentation.
• Experience with instrument tracking software.
• Knowledge of sterilization principles, microbiology, and infection prevention practices.
• Knowledge of instrument names, functions, and specialty sets.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer proficiency for documentation and recordkeeping.
