Company Overview: Barbaric is a globally operating company specializing in advanced vacuum lifting technology. For our subsidiary in Wake Forest, NC, USA, we are seeking a dedicated Installation Technician to join our team, focusing on installation, commissioning, and technical support across North America.

Your Responsibilities:

  1. Perform mechanical and electrical installation of cutting-edge automatic handling systems.
  2. Independently manage on-site assembly and commissioning throughout North America.
  3. Conduct service visits, troubleshoot issues, and provide maintenance for existing customer installations.
  4. Offer independent telephone support and remote troubleshooting assistance.

Pre-Installation Training:

  1. Participate in a comprehensive training phase, including hands-on assistance during installations and formal training at our headquarters and production facilities in Austria.

Your Profile:

  1. Solid knowledge in electro-mechanical assembly and installation of machinery/equipment.
  2. Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not mandatory.
  3. Willingness to acquire necessary software skills for system commissioning.
  4. Strong team player with excellent communication skills and a commitment to quality.
  5. Ability and readiness to travel extensively across North America and occasionally to Europe for training.
  6. Independent work ethic with strong time management abilities.
  7. Typical installation durations range from 14 to 21 days with breaks.
