Job summary

Simplehome is seeking a Service & Installation Tech to install and service residential and commercial electronics systems. The role involves on-site work, troubleshooting, and occasional after-hours duties in the greater Massachusetts area.

You will train customers, handle advanced programming, and work both independently and with a team to ensure high-quality installations and service delivery.

Qualifications

• Installation and construction skillset.
• Proficiency in hand tools, drills and small cutting tools.
• Minimum of 3 years field experience in this or a closely related field, e.g. electrical.
• Detail-oriented and organized.
• Ability to work on rotating “on-call” service schedule and occasional after-hours work.
• Proficient with desktop and mobile computing for reporting.
• Drivers License and clean driving record and background check.
• Experience working on site in homes and businesses while occupied by owners.

The Service & Installation Tech will work independently and with others on the installation and service of residential and commercial electronics systems. The Tech might be primarily Service-oriented, troubleshooting multiple systems during his or her schedule, or Installation-oriented, working on complete new projects.
