Responsibilities
- Greets guests actively engaged in gaming and assists team members in player identification.
- Provides guests with hospitality arrangements, including rooms, food, beverages, and special requests.
- Maintains knowledge of casino marketing and player development promotions and encourages guest participation.
- Maintains knowledge of credit procedures and encourages appropriate use of credit.
- Creates guest loyalty by engaging guests when on property.
- Assists in resolving guest opportunities and conflicts fairly and equitably.
- Analyzes and coordinates in‑house invitation lists with Manager.
- Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes, and demonstrates superior customer service per department and company standards.
- Attends and aids in coordination of special events.
- Exhibits friendly, helpful, and courteous manner when dealing with customers and coworkers.
- Establishes a direct line of communication with all service departments for caring for high‑value players.
- Maintains confidentiality of player information.
- Provides assistance to the Manager as needed.
- Provides professional representation at internal and external meetings and events.
- Ensures interactions with guests follow the customer service program guidelines.
- Adheres to all Corporate and local policies, procedures, and operating guidelines.
- Ensures compliance with all regulatory requirements and reports potential issues to management.
Qualifications
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two‑year college or technical school; minimum of one year casino guest service experience, including but not limited to Player Development, Slots, or Table Games.
- Basic math skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, decimals, rates, ratios, percentages, and interpreting bar graphs.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, and the public.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to resolve problems and conflicts diplomatically.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
- Ability to write reports and business correspondence.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills: identify problems, collect data, analyze, and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to interpret written and oral instructions.
