Job summary

Hale Trailer Brake & Wheel, Inc is seeking a Service Foreman in North Little Rock, AR. The role leads a team of mechanics in a heavy-duty shop, ensuring timely, quality repairs and adherence to safety standards.

The candidate will estimate repair costs, coordinate with customers and management, and maintain efficient shop operations while upholding company policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years meaningful / practical work experience as a heavy equipment mechanic with a proven background in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge regarding the safe handling and operation of trailers and/or tractors and mechanical aptitude.
• Professional, highly motivated, positive, results-oriented, problem-solving attitude.
• Good communication skills and be proficient on the computer.
• Able to work independently in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
• Must adhere to all Company policies including safety policies.
• Must pass a standard pre-employment drug test.

Responsibilities

• Lead supervisor in heavy duty equipment shop. Train and guide all staff mechanics with varying levels of skill with internal and customer repairs.
• Work alongside mechanics to ensure timely, quality jobs and identify, resolve and repair causes of breakdowns.
• Estimate cost of repairs and prepare itemized service orders listing parts and labor costs.
• Serve as liaison between management, mechanics and customers.
• Oversee the work of mechanics to achieve excellent customer service and satisfaction.
• Enforce safety procedures to prevent injuries and damage to equipment.
• Direct, assist and structure shop activities and maintain a fluent repair schedule.
• Communicate with customers regarding options so they can decide what work to perform.
• Perform tasks efficiently, safely, and in accordance with company policies and regulations.

Service Foreman

Hale Trailer Brake & Wheel, Inc is a multi-location, full-service trailer dealership with an immediate opening at its Little Rock, AR branch location. We are looking for a Working Shop Foreman with trailer mechanic experience to join our team of trailer professionals.

Responsibilities:

• Lead supervisor in heavy duty equipment shop. Train and guide all staff mechanics with varying levels of skill with internal and customer repairs.
• Works alongside mechanics to ensure they are performing timely, quality jobs. Work to identify, resolve and repair cause of breakdowns.

Requirements:
