Job summary

Freudenberg Group is seeking a Field Service Technician to perform on-site installation, removal, troubleshooting, and maintenance of mechanical seals and seal support systems. You will support commissioning, startup, and shutdown activities on pumps and rotating equipment, while collaborating with Reliability, Claims, and Sales teams to resolve issues.

The role requires 5–10 years in field service or rotating equipment, strong mechanical aptitude, and excellent communication skills to act as

• Direct experience with mechanical seal installation, removal, and troubleshooting.
• 5–10 years in a field service, maintenance, or rotating equipment role.
• Vocational training or technical certifications preferred.
• Familiarity with pumps, compressors, and other rotating equipment.
• Strong problem-solving and independent fieldwork with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication skills and customer-focused mindset.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and basic reporting.

• Serve as the technical, customer-facing resource for complex service challenges at industrial sites.
• Support aftermarket sales efforts by recognizing new opportunities during site visits.
