Job summary

Crown Roofing & Waterproofing is seeking an experienced Roofing Service Estimator to join our growing team serving the Pompano Beach, Fort Lauderdale, and Miami areas. You will work closely with the Service Manager and field crews to identify roofing issues, develop accurate estimates, and prepare professional proposals.

The ideal candidate has a minimum of 3 years of residential or commercial roofing experience, strong knowledge of roofing systems, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of residential or commercial roofing experience.
• Strong knowledge of roofing systems, leak detection, repairs, and preventative maintenance.
• Experience preparing roofing estimates and proposals.
• Excellent communication and customer relationship skills.
• Valid Florida driver's license.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct roof inspections to identify leaks, damage, maintenance needs, and repair opportunities.
• Prepare detailed estimates for roofing repairs, including labor, materials, and equipment.
• Develop professional proposals, inspection reports, and recommendations for customers.
• Build and maintain relationships with property managers, building owners, homeowners, HOAs, and commercial clients.
• Assist customers with managing their roofing portfolios and developing preventative maintenance programs.
• Present repair solutions, estimates, and service recommendations to customers and decision-makers.
• Follow up on proposals, maintain customer communication, and help generate new business opportunities.
• Coordinate with the Service Manager and field crews to ensure successful project execution.
• Assist service crews in the field when necessary.
• Participate in safety meetings, company events, and promotional activities.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Proficiency with computers, email, and estimating software.

Valid Florida driver's license with a good driving record.

Ability to perform roof inspections, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 lbs.

Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Self-motivated, dependable, and comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
