Job summary

ST Engineering Aerospace Engines Pte Ltd is seeking a Service Engineer (Certifying Staff), Component Repair to join our aerospace engineering team. This full-time role is based at Airport Road East Region and requires certification and hands-on repair experience to return components to service.

You will certify components, inspect, review records, and ensure compliance with FAA/EASA/CAAC Part 145. A competitive salary and benefits await the right candidate.

Qualifications

  • Nitec/Diploma in Engineering or equivalent technical qualification.
  • At least 5 years hands-on engine/component maintenance release within an approved Part 145 organization.
  • Certified in CAAS Air Legislation (Paper M10, L11, or L12) and related CAAS exams.
  • Strong expertise in turbine engine component repair processes (Plasma, NDT, Painting, Machining, Welding).
  • Experience with CFM56 and/or LEAP engines is advantageous.
  • Solid understanding of FAA, EASA, and CAAC aviation regulations and quality systems.
  • Ability to interpret technical manuals and compliance requirements accurately.
  • Proficient in maintenance documentation and record-keeping standards.
  • Willingness to work rotating shifts and overtime as operationally required.

Responsibilities

  • Certify engine/components for return to service following overhaul or repair, complying with FAA/EASA/CAAC Part 145.
  • Conduct final inspections, functional testing, and airworthiness verification.
  • Review and validate maintenance records, work packages, and airworthiness documentation.
  • Ensure adherence to approved technical data (ESM, SPM, SB, AD, IPC, AMM).
  • Uphold Safety Management System and Human Factors principles.
  • Support cost optimization and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Carry out additional duties as assigned.

About the role

ST Engineering Aerospace Engines Pte Ltd is seeking a Service Engineer (Certifying Staff), Component Repair to join our dynamic aerospace engineering team. This is a full-time position based in the Airport Road East Region.

Key responsibilities
  • Certify engine/components for return to service following overhaul or repair, in accordance with approved engine ratings/capability lists and company MOE procedures, ensuring compliance with FAA, EASA, and CAAC Part 145 regulations
  • Conduct final inspections, functional testing, and airworthiness verification to confirm components meet safety and serviceability standards
  • Review and validate maintenance records, work packages, and airworthiness documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and proper closure
  • Ensure strict adherence to approved technical data, including ESM, S.P.M, SB, AD, IPC, and AMM (as applicable)
  • Uphold Safety Management System (SMS) and Human Factors principles to maintain high standards of safety and maintenance quality
  • Support cost optimization efforts and participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency
  • Carry out additional duties as assigned
What we're looking for
