Job summary

Eurofiber Group is looking for a (Senior) Service Engineer to support customers primarily across the Benelux region. In this role, you will focus on delivering high-quality technical support, building and maintaining transmission networks, and providing training to ensure optimal use of our solutions.

The ideal candidate possesses strong expertise in routing and switching, and experience in optical transmission, with excellent communication skills in English and either Dutch or French. You will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to shaping the digital society.

• Experience with telecom transport equipment is a strong asset.

Job description

As a (Senior) Service Engineer, you support Eurofiber customers across the Benelux with a strong focus on connectivity solutions. You play a key role in building, expanding, and maintaining transmission networks for network operators, enterprise customers, and utility companies.

You deliver high-quality technical support by installing and expanding transmission networks and maintaining existing customer installations. You support solution offerings by setting up and executing proof-of-concepts and provide technical training to customers to ensure optimal use of Eurofiber solutions.

You stay up to date with relevant competitive solutions, products, and services and translate this knowledge into added value for customers. In this role, you collaborate closely with internal teams and act as a technical point of contact for customers.

Qualifications

• Higher education (Bachelor or Master) or equivalent experience
• Strong expertise in routing and switching (preferably Nokia equipment)
• Experience in one or more of the following domains:
  • Optical Transmission (C/DWDM)
  • Packet Optical Transport (Carrier Ethernet, MPLS)
  • Network Management Software
• Experience with telecom transport equipment is a strong asset
• Innovative and creative mindset with commercial awareness
• Strong communication skills and a true team player
• Creative problem solver with a strong focus on results
• Accurate in reporting and documentation
• Flexible and mobile, willing to work outside office hours when needed
• Willing to travel abroad occasionally
• Excellent knowledge of Dutch and English or French and English
  (Trilingual Dutch, English, French is a plus)
