Job summary

Mission

You play a key role in our mission to treat Cancer patients.

Responsible for operating and maintaining the equipment that is essential to the Proton Therapy System (PTS), troubleshooting equipment issues, performing routine preventative maintenance, conducting system inspections, and communicating the system's status to leadership and other stakeholders, support hardware and software testing, and be involved in all phases of PTS maintenance, including unit testing, integration testing, validation testing, and other site-related activities, which affect global operations.

Challenges we trust you with
  • Maintain and deploy the Proton Therapy System (PTS) for various customer needs, which will include but not limited to: Software/Hardware Testing, Troubleshooting, and Experimentation.
  • Troubleshoot PTS equipment including electrical, mechanical, and software problems.
  • Perform maintenance of the PTS including but not limited to routine preventative maintenance, system upgrades, and corrective maintenance as necessary.
  • Perform system inspections and clearly communicate the status of the system to leadership as well as to IBA employees.
  • Provide support to PTS Hardware and Software testing.
  • Support daily clinical operations for the customer clinical staff as defined by the Site Leader in accordance with site policies.
  • Support the PTS in all phases, which will include but not limited to, unit testing, integration testing, validation testing and other various site related activities as the Site Leader defines them.
  • Perform other related duties as required and assigned.
  • The incumbent must successfully pass the Oral Board examinations within the first 12 months of employment to remain eligible for this role.

Compensation and Benefits

Approximate Salary Range: $71,800 - $97,000

Variable Pay:Profit sharing, time-based compensation, “above & beyond” award, referral rewards
