Brda Electric is seeking a Residential Service Electrician to diagnose and resolve homeowner electrical issues, with the opportunity to earn up to $60 per hour plus uncapped commissions. A sign-on bonus of up to $10,000 is available for experienced candidates.

You’ll work directly with customers, delivering safe, reliable electrical solutions and educating homeowners on options to improve safety and efficiency. Growth with Brda’s leadership tracks is encouraged.

What You’ll Do

You’ll work directly with homeowners to diagnose problems, provide expert recommendations, and deliver high-quality solutions. Every day brings something different. One day, you may be troubleshooting a difficult electrical issue. The next, you could be upgrading a service panel, installing an EV charger, improving a home's lighting, or performing a safety inspection.

Responsibilities will include:

• Troubleshooting and diagnosing residential electrical issues.
• Explaining repair, replacement, and upgrade options clearly and professionally.
• Helping homeowners improve the safety, reliability, efficiency, and convenience of their electrical systems.
• Performing high-quality electrical repairs and installations.

What We Are Looking For

REQUIRED

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license.
• Minimum of 2 years of electrical experience.
• Residential service experience.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Professional appearance and attitude.
• A commitment to quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.

PREFERRED

• More than 2 years of electrical experience.
• Previous customer‑facing service experience.
• Experience mentoring or training apprentices.
• Experience with electrical panels and service upgrades.
• Experience with generators, backup power, or battery systems.
• A strong understanding of residential electrical safety and code requirements.
