Qualifications

• Two or more years of college level courses in animal husbandry or related fields preferred.
• Must have or obtain passport for international travel when required.
• Capable of maintaining a string of dogs walking a minimum of 2 miles per day.

Responsibilities

• Implements America’s VetDogs techniques for dog care and kennel maintenance.
• Trains strings of 'class-ready' dogs up to organizational standards.
• Instructs clients how to effectively and independently work with class-ready dogs.

Skills

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Self-starter with ability to lead others

Valid driver’s license

Ability to safely handle large breed dogs

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
