Job summary

Everforth Apex is seeking a Full Stack Developer for our Cincinnati on-site team. You will primarily work on backend Java services and Spring-based systems, with frontend work using modern frameworks to deliver cohesive web applications.

The role focuses on modernization of a legacy customer servicing platform, collaborating with stakeholders and cross-functional squads. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of Java development experience, strong SQL/ORM skills, and hands-on experience with Angular.

Title: Full Stack Developer

Role Overview An experienced development professional is required to join a collaborative, multi-squad modernization team focused on upgrading a legacy customer servicing platform. This role primarily focuses on backend services and Java development, while also utilizing frontend technologies to deliver cohesive web applications. The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders, end users, and cross-functional team members to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions adhering to industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop scalable, distributed, and multi-threaded applications using Java and the Spring Framework.
• Contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle, from design to deployment.
• Write well-designed, testable, and highly efficient code.
• Prepare and produce regular releases of software components.
• Build, manage, and optimize development, test, integration, and performance environments.
• Collaborate actively with team members during design sessions, development sprints, and code reviews.
• Identify opportunities for future system enhancements and continuous refinement of development standards.

Required Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

Experience: Minimum of 5 years of hands-on software development experience, with a strong focus on backend Java technologies and modern frontend frameworks.

Technical Skills: Proven proficiency in Java development, Java EE platforms, and the Spring Framework. Strong experience with relational databases, SQL, and Object-Relational Mapping (ORM) technologies. Hands-on experience with frontend technologies such as Angular is highly beneficial.
