Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Service Desk Engineer to support the ARPA-H program in the DMV area. The role emphasizes customer engagement, technical troubleshooting, and data analysis to diagnose application issues across Windows, Mac, M365, and related tools.

You will follow established processes, manage tickets, and communicate complex concepts to non-technical users while collaborating with government and contractor teams. Some AV setup travel is required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and 8+ years in service desk or IT support.
US Citizenship or Green Card with ability to obtain Public Trust.
Strong knowledge of audio/visual equipment and events support workflows.
Experience with Zendesk and ServiceNow ticketing systems.
Ability to interact with senior staff and work across government teams.

Responsibilities

Serve as a technical subject matter expert for Windows, Mac, M365, Adobe, Slack, JAMF, and account management.
Follow processes to ensure consistent problem resolution and ticket handling.
Communicate clearly with non-technical users and escalate when needed.
Manage service desk operations, KPIs, and service improvements.
Travel for AV setup during proposal days when required.
