Blackburn's Physicians Pharmacy, Inc. in Erie, PA is seeking a dependable Delivery Technician for a full-time, Monday–Friday daytime schedule. You will deliver durable medical equipment to patient homes and facilities, set up gear, explain operation, and ensure safety and proper use.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license with a safe driving record.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Dependable, organized, and comfortable working independently.
• Ability to manage a delivery schedule and complete documentation accurately.
• Mechanical aptitude with familiarity using hand and basic shop tools.
• Experience assembling, maintaining, or repairing mechanical or electronic equipment is preferred.
• Basic computer skills and willingness to learn company systems.
• Previous delivery, warehouse, field service, healthcare, or DME experience is helpful but not required.
• Ability to safely lift, carry, load, and maneuver medical equipment.

Responsibilities

• Load, secure, transport, and deliver medical equipment and supplies to patient homes and healthcare facilities.
• Set up equipment and confirm it is clean, safe, and functioning properly.
• Explain basic equipment operation, care, and maintenance to patients and caregivers.
• Complete home safety assessments and required delivery documentation.
• Obtain signatures, collect applicable copayments or payments, and return documentation promptly for processing.
• Pick up equipment, and keep clean and used items properly separated during transport.
• Clean, disinfect, test, and prepare returned equipment in accordance with company procedures.
• Perform basic troubleshooting, adjustments, and repairs on durable medical equipment.
• Maintain accurate inventory of equipment, supplies, tools, and vehicle-stocked items.
• Assist with shipping, receiving, warehouse organization, and scheduled inventory counts.
• Maintain a clean and safe company vehicle and follow required maintenance schedules.
• Follow all company safety, infection-control, OSHA, Joint Commission, and regulatory requirements.
• Support additional delivery, warehouse, and service projects as assigned.

We are seeking a dependable, service-minded Delivery Technician to join our Erie team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys driving, hands-on work, helping people, and solving practical problems throughout the day.
