EY is seeking a Technology Service Delivery Manager to join our US Service Delivery Center. You will lead end-to-end data architecture programs for enterprise-scale initiatives and guide teams through design, build, testing, and delivery of data solutions.

You will mentor engineers, establish governance standards, and champion data quality and security across engagements. Travel up to 30% and collaborate with senior stakeholders to translate technical direction into business outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in CS/Engineering/IS or related field.
  • At least 6 years of experience in data engineering, architecture and cloud data platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with Snowflake and enterprise data platforms.
  • Strong ETL, streaming, and integration skills (Informatica, SnapLogic, Kafka).

The opportunity

As a Technology Service Delivery Manager, you’ll be based in our Service Delivery Center, which is made up of high-performing US-based colleagues who work closely with our experienced advisory professionals. We deliver Technology project-based work and managed services to our clients. Here, you’ll work as part of a project team and will be responsible for the design, build/configuration, testing, analysis, delivery and support of Technology solutions. This position is fast-paced and ever-changing, which means you’ll need to be a flexible self-starter and be able to manage changing priorities and learning new and rapidly changing technology solutions.

We are looking for Data Engineers who will build scalable data platforms, pipelines, databases, and cloud data applications for our financial services clients. The team leverages Snowflake, ETL and streaming technologies, cloud platforms, and modern engineering practices to modernize enterprise data ecosystems. This role provides architecture, governance, and technical leadership across complex, enterprise-scale initiatives.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Own end-to-end enterprise data architecture and technology roadmaps across complex, enterprise-scale initiatives, and hold the teams accountable for delivering against them.
  • Establish data modeling, metadata, lineage, governance, quality, and observability standards, and make sure they are consistently adopted across engagements.
  • Lead cross-team decisions, modernization efforts, dependencies, and technical risk, escalating and resolving issues before they affect client delivery.
  • Influence senior client and internal stakeholders, communicating technical direction and trade-offs in terms the business understands.
  • Mentor and develop technical leaders and engineers, providing coaching, feedback, and career guidance that helps our people grow.
  • Define reusable standards and drive organizational capability improvement, so that each engagement leaves the practice stronger than it found it.
  • Apply and champion data quality, security, testing, and automation standards across the teams you lead, and translate requirements into well-governed, reliable data solutions.
Your Leadership And Management Responsibilities
  • As a Service Delivery Manager, you’ll be accountable for how the work gets done as much as what gets built.
  • You’ll set the technical direction for your teams, build the capability of the people around you, and give our clients and senior stakeholders the confidence that delivery is in safe hands.
Skills And Attributes For Success
  • Deep hands-on experience building scalable data platforms, pipelines, databases, and cloud data applications using Snowflake, ETL, streaming, and cloud technologies.
  • Build resilient batch and streaming pipelines and design data models and cloud data applications.
  • Establish and apply data modeling, metadata, lineage, quality, and observability standards.
  • Resolve production data issues and document lineage and controls.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 30% of the time.
To qualify for the role you must have
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • At least 6 years of relevant experience in data engineering, data architecture, and cloud data platforms.
  • Deep hands‑on experience with Snowflake and enterprise data platform development.
  • Strong experience with ETL, streaming, and integration technologies such as Informatica, SnapLogic, and Kafka.
  • Expertise in data modeling, SQL, database design, and performance tuning.
  • Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
  • Experience with Python, containers, and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with Jenkins, Artifactory, uDeploy, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Proven experience leading enterprise data architecture, establishing governance standards, and mentoring technical leaders.
  • Comfortable working in Agile environments and collaborating with senior business and technical stakeholders.

  • We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job is:
  • New York City, Boston, and Washington DC Metro Areas, Washington State, and Southern California offices – $91,400 to $190,000
  • Bay Area California offices – $95,300 to $197,900
  • All other offices locations in the US, including Sacramento – $76,200 to $174,100
  • Individual salaries within these ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.
  • Under our flexible vacation policy, you’ll decide how much vacation time you need based on your own personal circumstances.
