Qualifications

• Requires working knowledge of all duties within the Service Deli including food preparation and cooking.
• Strong communication, leadership and interpersonal skills with proven ability to manage people and remain composed with customers and coworkers.
• Knowledge of employment laws and workplace practices.
• Understanding of mathematics, weights and measures.
• Knowledge of perishable foods, safety and sanitation procedures.

Responsibilities

• Directs the operation of the service deli, supervising and training personnel.
• Orders merchandise and manages inventory to ensure quality and freshness.
• Ensures customer service and product quality, freshness, safety and selection.
• Schedules associates to ensure adequate coverage and service levels.
• Handles customer relations and resolves complaints.
• Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of the service deli area and equipment.
