The Center for Global Health and Healing is hiring for a team-oriented and compassionate Service Coordinator for the Program for Survivors of Torture, located in Boise, near the Regional Medical Center!

Position Summary & Highlights
  • This is a grant-funded position through October 2027, with the possibility of renewal. It qualifies for all benefits.
  • As the Service Coordinator for the Program for Survivors of Torture (PSOT), you will provide service coordination to eligible participants and their families.
  • The PSOT program, under The Center for Global Health & Healing, has been serving the refugee community since 2015, offering interdisciplinary services addressing physical, psychological, social, and spiritual impacts of trauma.
What Will You Do
  • Provide ongoing, in-person individual case management, including needs assessment, developing recovery plans, monitoring services, and evaluating outcomes.
  • Meet with participants regularly via face-to-face meetings, phone calls, or home visits.
  • Connect participants with services within Saint Alphonsus and external community partners.
  • Conduct community outreach and share program information with local stakeholders.
  • Collect and report program data to the Lead Service Coordinator and Program Manager.
  • Understand and apply trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and linguistically appropriate care principles.
  • Work in a diverse, multidisciplinary team environment.

This is not a remote or hybrid position.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in social work, clinical counseling, public health, community development, or related field, OR two years’ experience in refugee services or service coordination.
