Job summary

Enerflex Ltd. is seeking an experienced operations support professional to assist Branch Managers and Service Supervisors.

The role emphasizes coordinating with departments to secure customer materials for field technicians and performing data entry and invoicing in SAP with minimal supervision. You will enter tickets, process orders, reconcile pcards, and ensure SOX compliance while maintaining strong customer and team relationships.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of comparable work experience, oil and gas experience asset.
  • Highly organized and efficient with multitasking and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication across all levels.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, with data analysis focus.
  • Self-motivated and collaborative; able to work independently or in teams.
  • Proactive problem-solver with a customer-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Enter daily tickets into SAP with accuracy.
  • Process and invoice sales and service orders; ensure documentation is complete.
  • Reconcile purchasing cards (pcards) per branch policies.
  • Ensure SOX compliance across tasks and documentation.
  • Provide timely status updates on open service orders.
  • Track services, verify technician hours, review reports.
  • Open new job orders with complete and accurate information.
  • Maintain professional relationships with customers and team members.
  • Support with parts quoting and procurement for projects.

Job description

The primary purpose of this position is to provide operational support to Branch Managers and Service Supervisors. Key responsibilities include coordinating with various departments to obtain customer materials needed by field technicians and completing tasks independently with minimal supervision. This role also supports invoicing processes and performs data entry in SAP and other relevant systems.

Principle Responsibilities and Duties
  • Enter daily tickets into SAP with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Efficiently process and invoice sales and service orders, ensuring all documentation is accurate and complete.
  • Reconcile purchasing cards (pcards) for designated branches in accordance with company policies.
  • Ensure full compliance with SOX procedures across all relevant tasks and documentation.
  • Provide supervisors and managers with timely updates on the status of open service orders (Work in Progress).
  • Track completed services, verifying technician hours and reviewing service reports for accuracy.
  • Open new job orders, ensuring all information is accurate, complete, and submitted promptly.
  • Foster positive, professional relationships with customers and team members to promote a collaborative work environment.
  • Assist in resolving complex issues by supporting colleagues with problem-solving and critical thinking.
  • Work closely with branch staff to achieve both individual and team goals, following guidance from supervisors and managers.
  • Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by management.
  • Represent Enerflex professionally at all times, delivering customer service that reflects the company’s values and vision.
  • Support project execution by assisting with parts quoting and procurement.
  • During invoicing, review parts-related entries to confirm alignment with SOX compliance standards.
  • Maintain a collaborative mindset and demonstrate a positive, solution-focused attitude in all interactions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required; college degree preferred.
  • Must have 10+ years of comparable work experience, experience in the oil and gas industry would be an asset.
  • Highly organized and efficient, with exceptional multitasking abilities and strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, enabling effective interaction across all organizational levels.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, with a focus on data analysis, reporting, and process optimization.
  • Self-motivated and collaborative, capable of working independently as well as contributing effectively within team settings.
  • Proactive problem-solver, with a customer-oriented mindset that supports and enhances operational performance.
  • Consistent track record of meeting deadlines and maintaining high productivity in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
  • Adaptable and eager to learn, with a flexible approach to supporting various functions and responsibilities as needed.
Physical Requirements

Work is primarily indoors in a climate-controlled building. May require work outside the normal 40 hrs/wk. work schedule at certain times of the year during time sensitive projects. May be required to travel occasionally.
