Job summary

Qualifications

  • Associates Degree in Business or related field required or equivalent experience.
  • 3 years of combined education/experience acceptable in lieu of degree.
  • HVAC, Mechanical Contracting, Engineering or Construction industry experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates service resources for the service department and technicians.
  • Schedules personnel, materials, subcontractors and equipment based on project needs.
  • Generates work order documents, dispatches technicians, and notifies customers.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a strongServiceCoordinator/Dispatcher responsible for coordinating,controllingand directing activities of theservice department and technicians. Must bedetailand customer service oriented and have excellent organizational skills.Position requiresa high levelof correspondence with customers, technicians,supervisorsand the field. Must be able to work well with others in a fast-paced & high-volume environment.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinates service resources as related to service operations
  • Schedule personnel, materials, sub-contractorsand equipment based on project needs, skill sets, and availability
  • Generatesworkorderdocuments, dispatchestechniciansand notifies customers
  • Coordinates operations interaction with the Parts Department and Acquisition, as necessary
  • Reviews project paperwork, complete calls, forwards project paperwork to Project Administrators
  • Maintains customer satisfaction by investigating concerns, routing them to the assignedstaffand responding to special requests
  • Logs service start-up and service work requirements in job tracking system
  • Responsible for generating and printing various assigned reports
  • Ability to work regularly and dependably.
  • Ability to function in a team environment.
  • Demonstrateabilitytomaintaina pleasant and cooperative temperament with internal and external customers.
  • Other duties as assigned.
The Required Profile
  • Associates Degree in Businessor related field and 1 year working in a call centerenvironment experience; or 3 years combination of education or experience
  • StrongMS 365skillsin Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • HVAC, Mechanical Contracting, Engineering or Construction industry experience a plus

Ability to read andcomprehendsimple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret graphs.
Reasoning Ability
Abilityto apply common sense understanding to carry out instructionsfurnishedin written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Mental stamina for problem solving and prioritizing multiple tasks.

Will berequiredto work inthe officeand warehouseenvironments.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employeeis regularly required touse hands tooperatecomputerkeyboardreachwith hands and arms. The employeefrequentlyis required tostand, walk, and sit. The employeeis continually required toclimb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25pounds,frequentlylift and/or move up to50pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
