Tech24 in Chicago, IL is seeking a Service Coordinator to support daily service operations for HVACR services. You will work with project managers, technicians, subcontractors, and customers to schedule, document, and complete work efficiently.

The role requires strong organization, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced on-site environment. Pay ranges $22-$30 per hour with full benefits.

Formación

• 3+ years in service coordination or dispatch roles.
• Accounts payable/receivable experience is a plus.
• HVAC/R or commercial service knowledge preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).

Position Summary

As part of the Seco team and the broader Tech24 network, the Service Coordinator plays a key role in supporting daily service operations and project coordination. This position works closely with project managers, technicians, subcontractors, and customers to ensure projects and service work are scheduled, documented, and completed efficiently.

The Service Coordinator supports the daily operations of the service department by coordinating service calls, communicating with customers and technicians, maintaining accurate service records, and ensuring open work orders are followed through to completion. This position requires strong organization, attention to detail, customer service, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced service environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive incoming service requests and accurately enter customer and service-call information into the system.
• Answer and respond to incoming customer calls, emails, and after-hours messages.
• Communicate with customers regarding appointment confirmations, service status, return visits, and other updates.
• Upd ate financial records and support the maintenance of accurate accounts payable and accounts receivable balances.
• Follow up with technicians to collect completed service tickets and outstanding documentation.
• Monitor open service calls and follow up on jobs requiring additional work or return visits.
• Coordinate with technicians and office personnel regarding parts availability and job readiness.
• Maintain service quote logs and customer portals.
• Identify missing or incomplete service information and follow up with the appropriate team member.
• Support additional administrative and operational responsibilities within the service department as needed.

Desired Qualifications

• 3+ years in service coordination, dispatch, customer service, data entry, or administrative support
• 3+ years of accounts payable/receivable experience a plus
• Working knowledge of the HVAC/R or commercial service industry preferred.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Strong data-entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to communicate professionally with customers, technicians, management, and other departments.
• Team-oriented with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
• Ability to prioritize multiple service calls and administrative responsibilities simultaneously.
• Ability to adapt quickly in a reactive, ever-changing service environment.
• Strong follow-through and a sense of urgency when addressing customer and operational needs.

Compensation Transparency

The advertised pay range for this position is $22-$30 per hour. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, skills, qualifications, and market conditions.
