Leica Biosystems, a Danaher operating company, is seeking a Service Coordinator to support Field Service Engineers in Deer Park, IL. This on-site role focuses on dispatching work orders, coordinating preventive maintenance, installations, and instrument moves to ensure timely service and excellent customer experience.

You will collaborate with Field Service Management and engineers, balancing priorities, and optimizing schedules to maximize capacity while maintaining high service levels.

Competenze

• High School Diploma with 3+ years customer service experience or Associate’s degree with 1+ years of customer service experience.
• Demonstrated analytical skills: ability to gather, analyze, summarize, and present data in addition to excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Experience dispatching Field Service Engineers is a plus; experience working with Salesforce.com and/or SAP is beneficial; knowledge of medical device industries is a plus.

The Service Coordinator for Leica Biosystems is responsible for supporting Field Service Engineers through the active dispatching of customer work order requests. This role helps drive time and materials revenue through managing the flow of customer purchase orders for an assigned territory, proactively schedules Preventative Maintenance (PM) service visits, coordinates installations, decommissions, and moves of instruments, and places part orders for the Field Service organization. Works closely with Field Service Engineers and Field Service Management.

This position reports to the Service Coordination Manager and is part of the Service Coordination Team located in Deer Park, IL and will be an on-site role.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Coordinate and dispatch customer work orders across assigned territories, balancing customer needs, service priority, FSE availability, location, and scheduling requirements to support timely and effective service
• Manage changing priorities throughout the day, coordinating repairs, Preventative Maintenance, installations, instrument moves, parts, and other service needs while keeping customers, FSEs, and Field Service Management informed
• Identify opportunities to optimize schedules, bundle service activity, and maximize FSE capacity, helping enable the field team to serve customers efficiently and deliver a strong customer experience

The essential requirements of the job include:

• High School Diploma with 3+ years customer service experience or Associate’s degree with 1+ years of customer service experience
• Demonstrated analytical skills: ability to gather, analyze, summarize, and present data in addition to excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Experience dispatching Field Service Engineers
• Experience working with Salesforce.com and/or SAP
• Previous experience in and through knowledge of the medical device and/or related industries

The hourly range for this role is $25.00 – $28.00. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
