Job summary

Smart & Final is hiring a Service Clerk for the 350 Las Vegas store to help customers, stock shelves, and maintain a clean shopping environment. The role involves assisting with carry-out, price checks, and cart management in a fast-paced warehouse-style grocery setting.

The position requires basic English communication, physical stamina for regular lifting, and a willingness to provide excellent service to the community.

Qualifications

• Read and write English; interact with public and co-workers.
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, shelf tags, short notes; communicate effectively.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Ability to present information clearly to customers and colleagues.
• Regularly lift up to 25 pounds, frequently up to 45 pounds, and occasionally up to 60 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Collect and organize shopping carts inside the store and in the parking lot.
• Assist customers with loading merchandise into carts and vehicles.
• Check retail prices on shelves for checkout staff.
• Return mispriced items to shelves; face products on aisles.
• Maintain cleanliness of store entrance; sweep and mop, clean doors daily.
• Keep restrooms clean and restocked as needed.
