Job summary

Empire Truck Sales, LLC in Mobile, AL is seeking a Service Clerk with strong customer communication to support our service team. You will generate purchase orders, open and track work orders, and maintain department records in a fast-paced dealership setting.

Ideal candidates have dealership or automotive retail experience, basic mechanical knowledge, and proficiency with MS Office; must be detail-oriented, organized, and capable of multitasking. GED or HS diploma required.

Qualifications

• Experience in a dealership service department or automotive retail preferred.
• Mechanical knowledge in automotive/diesel beneficial.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and web-based programs.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to work scheduled shifts.
• GED or High School Diploma.

Responsibilities

• Generate Purchase Orders.
• Open and track work orders to closure and invoicing.
• Maintain Service Department filing and records.
• Update customer profiles using information from work orders.
• Be a team player and assist with tasks outside listed duties.
• Field internal and external customer inquiries to the Service Department.
• Receive training on warranty claims and dealership payroll.
