Equipment Management Service and Repair – EMSAR, headquartered in Austin, Texas, is a fast‑growing national technical services company providing maintenance, repair and installation services to OEMs in the healthcare sector.

We are seeking an entry‑level technician responsible for assisting with the maintenance, cleaning, repair, and refurbishment of various types of vacuum pumps and related equipment. Key Responsibilities
  • Assembly and disassembly: disassembling and reassembling vacuum pumps and peripherals as required for cleaning, inspection, and repair.
  • Testing and inspection: testing assembled units to ensure they meet specifications and performing visual and measurement inspections.
  • Documentation: maintaining accurate records of work performed, including inspection results, parts used, and test data.
  • Preventative maintenance: assisting with preventative maintenance tasks on pumps and workshop equipment.
  • Cleaning and decontamination: cleaning vacuum pump components using various methods such as high‑pressure washers, bead blasters, and chemical cleaners.
  • Safety adherence: following all safety policies and procedures, including those specific to handling chemicals and operating equipment safely.
  • Teamwork: collaborating with colleagues and other departments as needed.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2‑4 years’ experience in manufacturing and preferably some type of final assembly inspection process.
  • Mechanical aptitude: a mechanical background is preferred and the ability to work with hand and power tools is essential.
  • Attention to detail: meticulous attention to detail is crucial for ensuring proper cleaning, assembly, and documentation.

Work Environment and Physical Demands
