Job summary

McElroy Metal is seeking a Service Center Store Manager for our new Pearland, TX center. The role directs sales, production, shipping/receiving, inventory control, and administrative functions, reporting to the Service Center Area Manager.

Ideal candidates will have experience supervising staff, strong sales/customer service background in metal components or roofing products, and the ability to travel and work independently. Knowledge of inventory, invoicing, and material estimates is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising office and production staff.
• Sales/customer service experience in metal components and/or roofing products.
• Ability to travel and work independently.
• Experience with inventory control, invoicing records, and cash deposits.
• Ability to handle materials and material handling equipment.
• Experience scheduling, training, and hiring service center staff.

Responsibilities

• Directs sales, production, shipping and receiving at the service center.
• Maintain inventory records and place stock replenishment orders.
• Assist customers in product selection and write orders for delivery.
• Invoices orders after shipment and deposits cash receipts.
• Load and unload trucks and coordinate deliveries.
• Assist in creating and estimating material lists for customers.
