The Service Center Manager is responsible for collaborating with maintenance and equipment cleaning functions at the Service Center, managing assigned personnel, and overseeing independent contractor relations. The role aims to achieve Service Center revenue goals, improve customer services, ensure efficient operations, and maintain compliance with all applicable regulations and company policies.

Responsibilities:
  1. Lead, direct, and oversee employees at the service center.
  2. Manage hiring processes for office staff and drivers, selecting qualified candidates.
  3. Set and monitor company KPIs (Key Performance Indicators).
  4. Meet profit and loss objectives.
  5. Train and develop drivers and operations staff.
  6. Ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
  7. Communicate effectively with internal and external customers.
  8. Oversee transportation activities to maintain efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
  9. Ensure compliance with local, federal, and state regulations.
  10. Align operations with company policies and procedures.
  11. Coordinate with safety and HR departments on compliance and disciplinary issues.
  12. Promote and uphold safety standards.
  13. Collaborate with maintenance and equipment cleaning functions and third-party vendors.
  14. Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Experience in transportation, maintenance, or equipment cleaning is preferred.
  • Experience at Highway Transport may substitute for some requirements.
  • Valid driver’s license and adequate insurance coverage.
