Job summary

The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company is seeking a Service Manager for a Goodyear Commercial Tire & Service Center in Georgia. You will oversee the service department, lead the team, ensure safe operations, manage estimates, and drive customer satisfaction.

Qualifications include at least 2 years of management, commercial tire experience, valid driver's license and DOT readiness, willingness to work nights/weekends, and legal eligibility to work in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of management experience.
• Prior commercial tire experience.
• Willing to work scheduled shifts including nights and weekends.
• Valid driver's license for the vehicle type and ability to meet DOT driver qualification requirements.
• Be at least 21 years old.
• No relocation offered for this position.
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Assist Center Manager in achieving sales, units, and budgeted objectives.
• Ensure proper service estimates are delivered to customers.
• Quote tire prices accurately, including trade-ins.
• Complete work orders, PM checklists, and other paperwork.
• Process billing efficiently and accurately.
• Maintain inventory control and protect assets.
• Provide Service Excellence to meet location goals and customer needs.
• Assist Center Manager with hiring, training, and managing associates.
• Train new and existing associates.
• Communicate work assignments to associates.
• Support staffing levels with qualified personnel.
• Assist associates technically as needed.
• Foster effective communication across the center.
• Maintain accident-free, safe operations.
• Perform manual tasks including lifting heavy tires and wheels.
