Job summary

The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company is hiring an Inside Service Technician to work at a Goodyear Commercial Tire & Service Center location. You will service commercial tires and related duties for commercial fleet customers, following safety procedures and Goodyear’s Service Excellence standard.

You will be trained to mount/dismount tires, inspect for repair needs, and follow service tickets to ensure efficient operations at the center.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3 months of prior Commercial Service Tire or related experience preferred.
• Must possess mechanical aptitude.
• Strong oral and written communication skills required.
• Commitment to safety procedures and safe work practices.

Responsibilities

• Service commercial tires including mounting and dismounting.
• Train to perform match mounting and radial runout tasks.
• Inflate tires to PSI per load requirements.
• Assess tire conditions and perform needed repairs.
• Remove tires for retreading or repair.
• Complete service tickets accurately for management.
• Maintain clean, safe service equipment and workplace.
• Uphold Goodyear's Service Excellence standards.
