Job summary

Pep Boys is seeking a Customer Service Lead in Murfreesboro, TN to oversee daily service-center operations and deliver outstanding customer experiences. The CSL will mentor Advisors, support management, and act as the on-site leader when leadership isn’t present.

This role emphasizes strong customer focus, leadership presence, and accountability for safety and service standards across day and night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform all Customer Service Advisor duties at an advanced level and model exceptional service.
• Act as key holder for opening/closing the service center and follow cash-handling procedures.
• Lead on duty when the Service Center Manager is not present and ensure smooth daily operations.
• Mentor, train, and onboard Customer Service Advisors, sharing best practices in communication and sales.
• Assist with interviewing and evaluating candidates and provide ongoing coaching to the team.
• Collaborate with technicians and management to drive sales and improve customer retention.
• Uphold safety, compliance, and a team-oriented work environment on all shifts.
• Other duties as assigned.
