Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated is hiring a Service Attendant to support warehouse operations at our Lake Orion facility. The role involves material movement, inventory accuracy, and adherence to safety standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will handle packing slips, counts, and SAP-based transactions, while maintaining organized work areas and providing reliable service to production teams on second and third shifts.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic literacy to read packing slips and work orders.
• Experience with inventory records helps.
• Willingness to learn SAP or similar systems.

Responsibilities

• Complete Worker Safety Engagement daily and maintain safety docs.
• Operate flatbed burden carriers and forklifts to move materials.
• Monitor POU areas and coordinate replenishment to support production.
• Review packing slips, verify counts, and process SAP transactions.
• Fill customer orders and report discrepancies to supervisor.
• Maintain Workplace Organization and keep work areas clean and safe.
• Interface with plant customers and team members to fulfill supply runs.

In this essential role, you'll be the backbone of our warehouse operations, ensuring smooth materials flow, accurate inventory management, and adherence to the highest safety standards. Your attention to detail and commitment to operational excellence will directly support production efficiency and contribute to JLL's reputation as a trusted partner in facility management. This is an opportunity to grow your logistics career in a fast-paced, dynamic manufacturing environment.**What your day-to-day will look like:*** Complete the Worker Safety Engagement process daily and maintain all required safety and operational documentation* Operate flatbed burden carriers and forklifts to transport materials throughout the facility, unload delivery vehicles, and prepare outbound shipments* Monitor Point of Use (POU) areas for empty bins and coordinate timely crib replenishment to support continuous production* Review packing slips, verify material counts, and process transactions accurately in the SAP system* Fill customer orders, verify balance on hand quantities, and report discrepancies to your Supervisor for resolution* Perform daily Workplace Organization (WPO) and cleaning of assigned work areas to maintain a safe, organized environment* Interface professionally with plant customers and team members to fulfill supply runs, label runs, and additional tasks as assigned**Required Qualifications:*** High school diploma or equivalent* Ability to lift, carry, and move materials, with capability to stand and walk for extended periods* Basic computer proficiency for inventory management systems and ability to read and interpret packing slips and work orders* Strong attention to detail for accurate record keeping and transaction processing* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to work independently under minimal supervision* Demonstrated commitment to safety protocols and procedures* Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and assignments in a fast-paced environment**Preferred Qualifications:*** Previous warehouse or materials handling experience* Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems* Familiarity with logistics and warehouse management systems* Previous forklift/high-low operation experience* Manufacturing or industrial environment experience* Inventory control or supply chain background* Customer service experience in business-to-business settings**Location:** Lake Orion, MI**Work Shift:** 2nd shift (2:00 PM to 10:30 PM) and 3rd shift (10:00 PM to 6:30 AM)This position does not provide visa sponsorship.
