Job summary

Stock Yards Bancorp, Inc. is seeking a Service Associate I to perform face-to-face customer banking transactions and contribute to exceptional service. You will sell and cross-sell bank products while maintaining accuracy in daily cash handling and deposits.

The role requires strong communication, a professional demeanor, and the ability to work well with others in a branch setting. Hours vary by location and include Saturdays on a rotating basis.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
• Customer contact and cash handling experience.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Ability to work well with others.
• Good math skills.
• PC proficient.

Responsibilities

• Exemplify our 212 commitment to service.
• Process deposits, withdrawals, cash checks and balance a cash drawer.
• Cash checks following SYB check cashing policy.
• Sell official checks.
• Process and balance teller work through image capture; Consultative Selling – Engaging customers and prospects to uncover needs and offer solutions.
• Assist with beginning, end of day and other operational duties as needed.
• Participate in weekly team meetings.
