Hai Hospitality is hiring a Server Assistant / Server for our Scottsdale location. You’ll support service on every level and help create memorable guest experiences. Training will help you become an excellent server as quickly as your potential allows.

You’ll learn the menu, current specials, and our Japanese beverage program, while assisting with floor service, bussing, and curbside orders. We offer benefits and opportunities to grow from within.

Qualifications

• Must communicate effectively with guests and employees.
• Lift and carry trays, dishes, equipment, and goods up to 50 lbs.
• Must stand and walk for extended periods.
• Work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Able to work in hot and cold temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Acquaint yourself with our menu, current specials, and Japanese cuisine.
• Learn about beer, wine, and sake through peer-led beverage training
• Be present and active on the floor, assisting with running side work
• Bus and reset tables, polish glassware, stock supplies
• Assist servers with all aspects of service to enhance the guest experience
• Deliver food to our guests and explain each dish
• Receive, organize, and deliver curbside orders to guests waiting outside
