Job summary

Arbon Equipment, a Rite-Hite Company, is seeking an entry-level Field Service Apprentice to install, maintain, and repair loading dock equipment and industrial doors at customer facilities. You will serve as the primary customer contact and learn from a senior technician in a hands-on apprenticeship.

This role requires independent work in the field, comfort working outdoors and at heights, and the ability to lift up to 100 pounds.

Qualifications

• Entry-level position; prior mechanical or electrical experience is helpful.
• Must be able to work independently in a field environment.
• Good customer service skills are required.
• Ability to work outdoors, at heights, and lift up to 100 pounds.
• Must drive a company vehicle; pre-employment drug test, clean driving record, and DOT physical are required.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair loading dock equipment and industrial doors at customer facilities.
• Act as a technical resource for customers and the sales force.
• Work independently or in small teams in a field service environment, serving as the primary customer contact.
• As an apprentice, spend the majority of time working closely with a senior technician, learning products, customers, and developing the skills needed to work on your own.
