Job summary

Role Overview

Rite‑Hite Service Technicians install, maintain, and repair loading dock equipment and industrial doors at customer facilities. In addition, Service Technicians act as a technical resource for our customers and the sales force. This position works independently or in small teams in a field service environment, and is a primary customer contact. As an apprentice, you will spend the majority of your time working closely with a senior Technician, learning our products and our customers and developing the skills needed to work on your own.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair loading dock equipment and industrial doors.
• Act as a technical resource for customers and the sales force.
• Work independently or in small teams in a field service environment.
• Serve as a primary customer contact.

Qualifications

• Entry‑level position; prior mechanical or electrical experience helpful.
• Ability to work independently in a field environment.
• Good customer service skills.
• Ability to work outdoors, at heights, and lift up to 100 pounds.
• Driving a company vehicle; pre‑employment drug test and clean driving record required, as is a DOT physical.
