Job summary

American Technology Components, Inc. is seeking an experienced Warranty and Service Manager to lead warranty operations in Elkhart, Indiana. You will oversee claims, coordinate repairs, and drive service delivery with engineering and production teams.

The role requires a Electronics degree with 3+ years in warranty or customer service, strong leadership, and hands-on diagnostics. Travel to OEMs and dealers for training is expected as part of improving quality and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics preferred; AS in Electronics required.
• 3+ years in warranty management or customer service in electronics/manufacturing.
• Experience with warranty systems and CRM tools.

Responsibilities

• Warranty Management: Oversee and process warranty claims, ensuring timely resolutions per policy.
• Customer Support: Primary contact for escalated warranty issues, with on-site troubleshooting when needed.
• Repair & Service Coordination: Manage product repairs and service requests with production and quality teams.
• Team Leadership: Oversee the service and warranty team and foster professional development.
• Process Improvement: Identify trends, analyze root causes, and drive improvements with engineering.
• Data Management & Reporting: Maintain service records and report warranty metrics to leadership.
• Compliance & Policy Development: Ensure operations align with standards and company policies.
• Customer Training and Service Schools: Travel to OEMs and dealers to train technicians.

Job Responsibilities

• Warranty Management: Oversee and process warranty claims, ensuring timely resolutions while adhering to company policies.
• Customer Support: Serve as the primary point of contact for escalated customer warranty issues, ensuring a positive customer experience including site visits for troubleshooting.
• Repair & Service Coordination: Manage product repairs and service requests, working closely with the production and quality teams to address recurring issues.
• Team Leadership: Supervise and support the service and warranty team, ensuring efficient workflows and professional development.
• Process Improvement: Identify trends in product issues, analyze root causes, and collaborate with engineering and production teams to drive continuous improvement.
• Data Management & Reporting: Maintain accurate service records, track warranty trends, and provide reports to leadership on warranty claims, repair rates, and customer feedback.
• Compliance & Policy Development: Ensure all warranty and service operations align with industry standards and company policies.
• Customer Training and Service Schools: Travel to OEM’s and Dealers to perform technical training to technicians.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics preferred, A.S. in Electronics required.
• 3+ years of experience in warranty management, customer service, or a related role in the electronics or manufacturing industry preferred.

Technical Skills

• Understanding of electronics manufacturing, product diagnostics, and troubleshooting.
• Interpret schematic and technical documents
• Troubleshoot PCBA down to component level
• Experience with warranty management systems and CRM tools.
