Manages all Order-to-Cash processes for import, export, and domestic orders, including sample requests processing. Responsible for supply and demand processes for off-line locations, perform shipping transactions and supplies required paperwork and disposition for aged or damaged goods. Monitors import, export and domestic shipment dates for customer and inventory replenishment orders based on availability of stock, pricing, etc., from both European plants and Asia locations. Provides support to Europe customer service and supply chain & logistics team for seamless import order processing. Responsible for customer order chain from initial order to billing and/or collections (customer, carriers, warehouse, SAP system entry, surveyors) Works with Customs Brokers for import & export related business transactions Manage product inventory, customer deliveries working closely with logistics partners, pricing accuracy and other associated indicators of customer/supplier relationship. Ensure that customer needs are met and service levels are appropriate (timely receipt of deliveries, new product and customer set ups in SAP). Solve supply/demand issues and provide solutions to delivery issues, documentation. Communicate with customer, chemical vendor. Maintain close daily communication with logistics group, carriers and for emergency response coordination/documentation for leakages or accidents Monitor inventory levels to ensure product availability by working closely with Sales team. Works with regulatory matters and documentation requirements (certificate of analysis, labels, SDS) ensuring compliance at all times.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required. 5+ years’ experience in Customer Service/Sales related function. Strong computer proficiency in SAP or related systems Experience and comfort in working with various IT-tools (Office package, MS Dynamics, MS Teams, CRM and other) Experience in plant/warehouse systems and procedures for shipping, accounting, etc. as well as Logistics/Operations and impact to fulfilling customer’s order, including domestic, export, inter-company and 3rd party orders. Clear understanding of supply chain, logistics, sourcing, and regulatory functions required Excellent communication and decision-making skills Ability to work independently under limited supervision and manage time vs high volume workload Ability to make decisions and recommend actions within authorized parameters. Decisions would include, but would not be limited to resolving customer issues, issuing credits, and negotiating required shipment dates with customers, production and shipping departments. Travel may be necessary (domestic/int’l), i.e. to visit customers, warehouses and internal meetings. Incumbent required to be on call. (some weekend/early morning work may be necessary).
Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. (Specific rate to be determined, but not limited to, geographic location, education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data). Pay Range: $62,800-$113,800 Evonik offers a comprehensive benefit package, subject to plan eligibility, terms, and guidelines.
