Job summary

Arnie Bauer Chevy GMC in Wilmington is seeking a Service & Sales Porter to support both our sales and service departments. You will help prepare vehicles for delivery and move cars on the lot to optimize display and service flow.

The role requires a valid driver’s license and a reliable work ethic, with comfort working outdoors in all weather. It’s a full-time, on-site position offering growth opportunities and employee benefits.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather.
• Able to drive both automatic and manual vehicles (preferred but not required).
• Must be a team player and ready to jump in where needed.

Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare vehicles for delivery to customers.
• Move vehicles across the lot for display, staging, and service flow.
• Assist technicians by moving vehicles in and out of service bays.
• Transport vehicles between Wilmington and Matteson locations when needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized lot and work area.
• Occasionally shuttle customers if needed.
