Job summary

Putnam County Schools is seeking a TEMPORARY Early Childhood Assistant Teacher (ECCAT) to assist the kindergarten classroom under the supervision of the regular teacher. The position supports the instructional program and participates in classroom activities.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, an Aide classification, and CPR/first aid cards. The candidate must be willing to obtain the appropriate authorization for Early Childhood AssistantTeacher.

Job Description: The TEMPORARY Early Childhood Assistant Teacher or Kindergarten e Aide supports the instructional program by performing tasks assigned by the regular classroom teacher.

Qualifications: Holds a high school diploma or GED. Holds "Aide" classification. Possesses strong oral and written communication skills. Holds valid CPR and first aid cards. To qualify for the Early Childhood Assistant Teacher classification, the successful candidate must agree to complete a Temporary or Permanent Authorization endorsed for Early Childhood Assistant Teacher.**
