Qualifications

• Holds a high school diploma or GED.
• Holds "Aide" classification.
• Possesses strong oral and written communication skills.
• Holds valid CPR and first aid cards.
• To qualify for the Early Childhood Assistant Teacher classification, the candidate must agree to complete a Temporary or Permanent Authorization endorsed for Early Childhood Assistant Teacher.

Responsibilities

• The TEMPORARY Early Childhood Assistant Teacher or Kindergarten aide supports the instructional program by performing tasks assigned by the regular classroom teacher.
• The TEMPORARY Early Childhood Assistant Teacher or Kindergarten aide shall have the responsibilities and duties as outlined in the Putnam County Schools Job Description.
