Job summary

Putnam County Schools in West Virginia is seeking a TEMPORARY Aide/ECCAT Kindergarten Assistant Teacher (S1522) for Eastbook Elementary. The role supports the instructional program under the regular classroom teacher and runs from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm as a substitute.

Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED, CPR and first aid cards, and an aide classification; eligibility for Early Childhood Assistant Teacher authorization is required.

Qualifications

• Holds a high school diploma or GED.
• Holds “Aide” classification.
• Possesses strong oral and written communication skills.
• Holds CPR and first aid cards.
• To qualify, agreement to complete Temporary or Permanent Authorization for Early Childhood Assistant Teacher.

Responsibilities

• The TEMPORARY Early Childhood Assistant Teacher or Kindergarten Aide supports the instructional program by performing tasks assigned by the regular classroom teacher.
