Job summary

Love's Travel Stops in North Carolina is seeking a Service Advisor to drive sales and lead service center operations with strong customer service and leadership skills. You will greet customers, assess vehicle service needs, provide repair estimates, and handle promotions and payments to ensure satisfaction.

The role emphasizes teamwork, clear communication, and the ability to navigate multiple computer systems while maintaining a safe, clean facility and supporting talent acquisition efforts

Qualifications

• 6 months in customer service or sales preferred.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check; may include motor vehicle check and/or DOT Physical.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to operate computer programs and systems.

Responsibilities

Service Advisors are key members of management, combining technical and managerial skills to lead service centers and progress towards becoming a Truck Care General Manager.

Job Functions:

• Maintain a safe and clean facility.
• Greet customers, address vehicle service needs, and document issues.
• Provide detailed repair cost estimates, sales promotions, obtain necessary approvals and payments.
• Keep customers updated on vehicle status and provide comprehensive explanations of completed work. Handle customer complaints and resolve concerns.
• Collaborate with managers in the efforts of talent acquisition.

Requirements:

• 6 months in customer service or sales preferred.
• Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen and background check. Additional screening may include a motor vehicle check and/or DOT Physical.
