Job summary

Manheim, a Cox Automotive company, is hiring a Service Advisor/Estimator to produce timely and precise estimates for reconditioning on consigned vehicles for wholesale and retail clients. You will assess vehicle damage, document repairs, and seek client approval using Manheim's proprietary tools.

You will collaborate with maintenance, reconditioning, and procurement teams to price parts, monitor status and document outcomes while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

Job description

At Manheim (a Cox Automotive company), we're hiring a Service Advisor/Estimator.

Join a dynamic team where accuracy and efficiency drive client satisfaction. As a Service Advisor/Estimator, you'll be responsible for producing timely and precise estimates for reconditioning services on consigned vehicles for both wholesale and retail clients. You'll assess vehicle damage, document recommended repairs, and collaborate with clients for approval. Estimates will be created using Manheim's proprietary tools to ensure consistency and quality.

What You'll Do

• Provides estimation services for an assigned auction area or areas.
• Provides accurate reconditioning estimates for body, detail and mechanic services.
• Communicates estimates to maintenance, reconditioning and other teams as required to initiate work.
• Works with procurement / purchasing staff to ensure accurate pricing of parts and supplies required by estimates.
• Monitors repair status, completion timelines, transportation and customer communications related to approved reconditioning estimates.
• Keeps records of repair / reconditioning details and completes necessary paperwork.
• Visibly demonstrates safety commitment by following all safety and health procedures and modeling the behaviors related to such.
• Actively participates in and support all safety activities aligned with Safety Excellence

Minimum

• A high school diploma/GED and 3 years of experience in a related field; or any degree/certification beyond high school and 1 year of experience; or 5 years of experience in a related field.

• Ability to lift and carry up to 25lbs (e.g. tools, equipment)
• Vision abilities required include close, distance and color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
• The ability to drive standard, automatic and electric vehicles.

USD 20.00 - 30.00 per hour

Compensation

Hourly pay rate is in the range of $20.00 - $30.00/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.

Benefits

Employees are eligible to receive a minimum of sixteen hours of paid time off every month and seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Employees are also eligible for additional paid time off in the form of bereavement leave, time off to vote, jury duty leave, volunteer time off, military leave, and parental leave.
