Job summary

Manheim, a Cox Automotive company, is hiring an Estimator II QC to join our auction services team in Texas. You will provide estimation services for an assigned auction area and produce accurate reconditioning estimates for body, detail, and mechanic work.

You'll coordinate with maintenance and purchasing, monitor repair status, maintain records, and uphold Safety Excellence. The role requires a high school diploma or GED and 3 years of related experience, proficiency with MS Outlook/Word/Excel,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, with 3 years in a related field, or 5 years of related experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Ability to drive standard, automatic and electric vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Provide estimation services for an assigned auction area.
• Provide accurate reconditioning estimates for body, detail, and mechanic services.
• Communicate estimates to maintenance and other teams to initiate work.
• Work with procurement staff to ensure accurate pricing of parts and supplies.
• Monitor repair status, timelines, transportation, and customer communications.
• Keep records of repair details and complete required paperwork.

What You'll Do

• Provides estimation services for an assigned auction area or areas.
• Provides accurate reconditioning estimates for body, detail, and mechanic services.
• Communicates estimates to maintenance, reconditioning, and other teams as required to initiate work.
• Works with procurement/purchasing staff to ensure accurate pricing of parts and supplies required by estimates.
• Monitors repair status, completion timelines, transportation, and customer communications related to approved reconditioning estimates.
• Keeps records of repair/reconditioning details and completes necessary paperwork.
• Visibly demonstrates a commitment to safety by following all safety and health procedures and modeling related behaviors.
• Actively participates in and supports all safety activities aligned with Safety Excellence

Minimum

• A high school diploma/GED and 3 years of experience in a related field; or any degree/certification beyond high school and 1 year of experience; or 5 years of experience in a related field.

MSCOX

USD 18.17 - 27.31 per hour

Compensation

Hourly pay rate is in the range of $18.17 - $27.31/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.

Benefits

Employees are eligible to receive a minimum of sixteen hours of paid time off every month and seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Employees are also eligible for additional paid time off in the form of bereavement leave, time off to vote, jury duty leave, volunteer time off, military leave, and parental leave.
