Job summary

Holman is seeking a Service Advisor at Leith Volkswagen of Cary. You will liaise between service technicians and the parts department, greet customers, and write up service needs with accurate estimates for cost and completion time.

This role emphasizes delivering an outstanding guest experience and clear communication with customers. The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma with ~1 year of related sales experience, a valid driver’s license, strong reading, writing and math skills, and

Responsibilities

• Meet & greet customers with courtesy and efficiency.
• Provide an outstanding guest experience and service.
• Determine the course of action and obtain customer authorization.
• Write up service needs and give customers accurate estimates for cost and completion time.
• Communicate effectively with customers to ensure satisfactory repairs and upsell as needed.
• Knowledge of warranty and service/insurance policies.
• Keep customers informed and advise on prognosis of their vehicle.
• Call customers to set appointments and answer phones promptly.
• Attend required training and department meetings.

What will you do?

Our Service Advisor is responsible for serving as a liaison between the Service Department technicians and the parts department by maintaining customer satisfaction as well as performing the following duties:

• Ability to meet & greet customers with courtesy and efficiency
• Responsible for proving an outstanding guest experience!
• Determine the course of action to take and obtain customer authorization.
• Write up service needs and give customer accurate estimate for dollar amount and completion time of work.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customer, to achieve satisfactory repairs, sale of necessary repair or maintenance to vehicles.
• Knowledge of warranty and service/insurance policies.
• Keeping customer informed and advise customer of the prognosis of their vehicle.
• Calling customers to set appointments and answer telephones at a timely manner.
• Attends/completes required training and department meetings.

We offer competitive wages that are commensurate with job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, and geographic location. This is a commission eligible role, and employees can expect to earn an average monthly pay of $3,000-$10,000 with earning potential based on your personal performance.
