Job summary

Martin Automotive Group in Ontario, CA is seeking a Service Advisor for our Subaru of Ontario location. You will greet customers, collect vehicle information, and clearly report symptoms as described by customers.

You will determine maintenance needs based on age, mileage and history, prepare detailed cost estimates for labor and parts, and keep customers informed about progress. You will explain all completed work and finalize invoices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Proven record of achieving exceptional customer satisfaction.
• At least 1 year as a Service Advisor or related role.
• Above average energy level.
• Desire for a long-term career with a growing organization.
• Bilingual preferred but not required.
• Personal and professional integrity.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly.
• Obtain customer and vehicle information.
• Clearly report all vehicle symptoms as described by the customer.
• Determine and recommend needed maintenance based on age, mileage and history of vehicle.
• Prepare a complete and accurate estimate of cost for labor and parts.
• Establish follow up time.
• Monitor the progress of each vehicle throughout the day and update customers frequently.
• Verify that the final invoice reconciles with the work performed on the repair order.
• Explain all completed work and charges to customers.
