Job summary

Ron Tonkin Honda in Portland, OR is seeking a high-energy Main Line Advisor to join our team. As the only Honda dealership in Portland, our bays are busy and our customers need a trusted guide between the guests and our technicians.

This role rewards a knack for sales, strong communication, and the ability to explain repairs clearly while helping guests prioritize services. Prev CDK experience is strongly recommended.

• Experienced: 1–3 years of Automotive Advising experience
• Software: Prior CDK experience
• Team-Oriented: You believe that we win together

Responsibilities

• Be the Expert: Bridge the gap between the shop and the guest, explaining repairs and technical needs clearly
• Drive Results: Maximize technician productivity by meeting and exceeding sales forecasts
• Consult & Curate: Help guests prioritize essential services and provide options that fit their needs
• Keep the Loop Closed: Proactively update customers on completion times, costs, and any changes in the repair process
• Own the Experience: Ensure every guest leaves feeling like a VIP
