Job summary

Southern Auto Group seeks an Automotive Service Advisor or Customer Service representative to schedule service, guide repairs, and keep customers informed. Responsibilities

  • Makes repair recommendations and manages the delivery of repairs by setting and managing customer expectations.
  • Ensures that required documentation is complete and is in compliance with regulations and standards.
  • Complies with and enforces all safety policies and procedures.
  • Attends all staff meetings, training, and educational classes as required to educate/train new staff members.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Our customers rely heavily on the communication between YOU and our Technicians being accurate and precise! This is the basis of our customers getting their vehicle back on the road as quickly and safely as possible. YOU are the middle man (or woman), and the information that you provide share along the way to keep both sides "in the loop" is exactly what we need to keep the 'wheels in motion'.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, some post-secondary automotive training or experience, at least one year of dealer-level or large facility experience, an unrestricted driver's license and a clean driving record, and a strong technical and customer service performance record. ASE certification is a plus! Candidates must be able to work productively in a fast-paced team environment and must have a positive attitude, professional appearance, great communication skills, and the ability to deliver world-class customer service.
