Job summary

AutoNation is seeking a Service Advisor to bridge Service Technicians and customers in our state-of-the-art service departments. You’ll explain technician recommendations in clear language and help customers plan for ongoing maintenance.

You’ll set appointments, meet sales and CX targets, perform vehicle walk-arounds, and collaborate with technicians and parts staff to ensure timely work. This role offers strong earning potential and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Set, confirm and prepare for appointments with customers for a great service experience
• Meet or exceed targeted sales goals and customer satisfaction index
• Greet customers on arrival and determine vehicle needs via walk-around and tests
• Explain technician recommendations in easy-to-understand language
• Produce repair orders with cost and time estimates with transparency
• Coordinate with technicians and parts to ensure timely completion of work

As a Service Advisor, you’ll be part of a nationwide team servicing 20,000 cars a day and building customer loyalty that spans generations. Along with your communication skills and automotive knowledge, you’ll utilize leading-edge technology to uncover selling opportunities that keep drivers safe in their vehicles.Position OverviewWorking in our state of the art service departments, the Service Advisor acts as the go-between for Service Technicians and customers. In this position, you’ll be able to get out from behind the desk and play an active role in the service lane.
